Joe Bill Campbell - Attorney

Joe Bill Campbell brings 40 years of trial experience to his role as a personal injury attorney with Hughes & Coleman. Campbell practices in the areas of mass torts, medical malpractice and product liability. He spent the first 30 years of his career as a medical malpractice defense attorney and now represents personal injury victims and their families in serious and catastrophic injury cases.


Campbell is a graduate of Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky University. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his law school class at the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was also selected to the law school honor society, Order of the Coif.

Highly regarded for his trial skills, Campbell is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Membership in that organization is reserved for the top one percent of trial lawyers in the state. He is also a member of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society.

From 1992-1993, Campbell served as President of the Kentucky Bar Association. He was a founding member of the law firm of Campbell, Kerrick & Grise.
